The season is very short for the ornamental pheasants. It usually runs mid October to late November/early December with late October and early November being the best months to incubate eggs. Each season we usually have golden, yellow golden and lady amherst pheasant hatching eggs available for sale. Due to demand and limited number of eggs laid (each hen lays just a few) we recommend pre-ording pheasant eggs each season. This can be done by emailing us with the pheasant hatching eggs in the subject line. We no longer keep the ringneck pheasants and red legged partridge (a cat got the last of our breeding hens). For more information on the ornamental pheasants please follow the links below. We have a very limited supply of pheasant hatching eggs as the season is a short one - so recommend pre-ordering. The best way to do this is to send us an email with pheasant hatching eggs in the subject line and in the body of the email what breed and numbers you would like. Thank you.
Just a note to say that I have picked up the hens and got them home. They are beautiful and so well packaged. Mainfreight staff was very impressed, as was I. I am trying to coax them out of the box and into their new house but they are happy in the box! I will have to give them a push I think! Again, very many thanks to everyone involved with this purchase.

We are very happy with this product. We wish we had heard about it sooner, because although the older girls are now not pecking the younger girls, they have gotten into the habit of chasing and the young girls, running. We are sure it will calm down once they realise that they are not going to get plucked. Just a point - got some kick-back spray into my face and even I don't want to peck at the chickens - LOL. Regards, Jeanette

This is the 3rd time of buying products from Appletons. Their website is pretty easy to use and the delivery very quick and not overly expensive. I have purchased chicken food and an Omlet fence both of which I am very satisfied with. And finally if you have to have a chat with them, they are really friendly and obliging. Full Marks Appletons!
